I feel that Peyton Manning should retire if he wins this year’s Superbowl.  He is getting older and, in my opinion, this is a sign of retirement. He had a foot injury this year and missed many games because of it. To protect his own health and legacy, I think retiring this year would be a good move.

Even if Manning doesn’t win the Superbowl this year, he will still go down as one of the best quarterbacks of all time and is a clear candidate for induction into the Hall of Fame. He has the most passing yards and throwing touchdowns of all time. Also, if he continues to play in the NFL he could get injured and then be unable to play in his retirement season. I feel he should retire on a fighting season. According to Sports Illustrated, Peyton has told close friends and family he plans to retire, and I  think doing so would be the best move he could make for his health and his career.
