Spring sports started here at Shore Regional last week, and The Beacon will be covering the girls’ varsity softball team throughout their 2016 season! We talked to Coach Santangelo about some of his goals for this year and he said that he hopes they have “an aggressive and successful season with improvement.” Coach Santangelo has been coaching girls’ softball for about 16 years now and he enjoys seeing the players improve. The senior captains are Cassie Morales and Morgan Bohnert and the team will be having a scrimmage vs. Ocean Township on Wednesday, March 16th. Go out and support the Lady Blue Devils!
