Thomas Moloney, Staff Writer

The boys lacrosse team has enjoyed a lot of success in the season so far. They have had some key wins against Red Bank Catholic, Red Bank Regional, Saint John Vianney and Holmdel. The team has been lead by seniors Doug Goldsmith, Jack Britton and Hunter Avallone. Goldsmith has dominated so far, scoring over 40 goals this season and having over 30 assists. Britton has scored 26, and Avallone has done a solid job in the goal. Sophomore, Ryan Morris, has been great as well, scoring 27 goals and having 15 assists in the season. Shore’s lacrosse team has been also helped by freshmen Jake Turner, Tom Bocco and Gil Goldsmith. Turner has had 9 points on the season, and Bocco has had 5 points.  Freshman Gil Goldsmith has also been a star this season. He is second on the team in goals and assists, being only behind his senior brother, Doug.  On top of it all, Shore is 9-4 this year and is in position to make a run in the Central Jersey Group 1 tournament or the Shore Conference Tournament.
