On October 23, 2015  Five Seconds of Summer released a new album called Sounds Good Feels Good. Five Seconds of Summer is an Australian pop rock band that was formed in 2011, but made their break when touring with One Direction. They are known for their songs “She Looks so Perfect” and “Amnesia.”

On their new album, they changed the sound of their music. Previously, their songs were the stereotypical pop song: irritatingly catchy and not unique. Their music was similar to One Direction, whom they toured with in 2014. These bands are similar with their catchy songs and cute boys. However, 5sos, as they are known to fans, used their new album to branch out from One Direction. Now, Five Seconds of Summer sound unique and more pop rock. In their album, they used their favorite bands such as Good Charlotte, Duran Duran, and Greenday as inspiration.

The album includes songs such as “Money,” “Hey Everybody!”, “Permanent Vacation,” “Jet Black Heart,” “The Girl who Cries Wolf,” “Outer Space/Carry on,” “She’s Kinda Hot,” “Catch Fire,” “Waste the Night,” “Vapor,” “Castaway,” “Fly Away,” “Invisible,” “Airplanes,” and “San Francisco.” You can purchase Sounds Good Feels Good at Target, iTunes, Best Buy, and Amazon. When purchasing the album you can choose which cover you want because the boys have their picture and favorite color on separate covers. Whichever cover you choose you will enjoy the same Sounds Good Feels Good music.
