Since November 9, Shore Swimming has been tightening up their goggles and putting on their suits in hopes of making a big splash this season. Head Coach Katie McGowan and Assistant Coach Jared Aprahamian having been getting their key returners, Helen Grossman, who last month signed her NLI to Louisiana State Swim and Dive, Elesebeth Racioppi , Lizzie Welsh, Carolyn Mazzacco, Ellie George, Sarah Dwyer, Anna Greenberg, and key newcomers, Erin Ruane, Marissa Hembling, Maggie Sigmond-Warner, Audrey Terrany, and Kathryn Gammon, prepared to hopefully break some more school records and continue on with another winning season. Coach McGowan said, “The girls have a really strong team and look to build upon success from last year. They hope to repeat their top 5 finish in Monmouth County and are looking to break into top ten of Shore Conference.” Our girls lost their first meet to Red Bank Catholic by a close 16 points, but quickly shook it off and have had strong wins against Ranney and Monmouth Regional since then.
