Rumson Fair-Haven players Teddy Sourlis and Jack Solano each scored 11 points, Brendan Barry added 9 points along with a Vine-worthy dunk, and Rumson Fair-Haven defeated Shore Regional 53-30 to improve their record to .500 (3-3), while Shore’s record dropped to 1-7 on the season.

“We need to work on anticipating defenses, and not turning the ball over,” said junior Ryan Jones, who finished the night with 9 points.

Shore initially kept pace with RFH, but tailed off at the end of the 1st quarter, and trailed 30-16 at halftime. After halftime, they were outscored 23-14.

By reaching 7 losses, Shore has already eclipsed the number of losses they had last year, when they finished 21-6 and won the Central Jersey, Group 1 Sectional Title.

Next Game: Shore Regional travels to Monmouth Regional on January 8 to take on the Falcons, who are searching for their first win of the season (0-6).
