Shore has installed four new Elkay EH20 Bottle Filling Stations. While Shore Students were home enjoying winter break these expensive little machines (about 2,000 each!) were being installed inside the E and B hallways. The purpose of these stations is to quench thirst, but also minimize plastic waste. These machines are quick: 3x faster than a regular water fountain, clean: operate without touch of hand or mouth, and green: encourage reuse and reduce plastic waste. For those interested in testing out the new machines, Shore’s Surfrider Club is selling reusable water bottles for $7.
