Anna and Aleka are back to give you guys a quick rundown on what has been happening with girls basketball in the past couple of weeks. Over winter break, the girls won a first round victory over Ocean in the Lady Wave Tournament, with an ending score of 43-35. The girls lost to Long Branch during the same tournament in the next round. Congratulations to Junior Allie Reiser, who was named to the All Tournament Team. More recently, despite a good effort, the girls faced defeat against Rumson on Tuesday, January 5. Currently, the girls have a record of 2-5. Upcoming games include a home game against Monmouth Regional, on January 7th and on January 9th they face Freehold Township away. Good luck and keep working hard girls!
