Recently, the Girls Basketball team have come away with many great victories! On February 11th, Shore beat Holmdel by a single point, which served as huge win for the team as they have not been victorious against Holmdel in several years. The team continued their winning streak with a win over Red Bank Regional on the 13th and over Keansburg on the 17th. On the evening of February 19th, the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game was held and the girls faced Jackson Liberty. The Girls Basketball team sold t-shirts to support the important cause and encouraged fans to wear them to the game. Funds will be donated to the Alex Muñoz Memorial Fund. There are several upcoming games to look forward to including Metuchen on the 23rd, which will serve as Senior Night, and Point Beach on the 25th. The Beacon wishes the Girls Basketball team success in their upcoming games!
