Hey Blue Devils, Anna and Aleka are back once again to fill you in on what has been happening with your girl’s basketball team. Recently, the girls have come away with many great victories. On the 11th, Shore beat Holmdel with a margin of one point; a great win against a big school, and their first victory over them in a couple years. They continued their strong fight with their win over Red Bank Regional on the 13th and over Keansburg on the 17th. On the evening February 19th, the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game was held and the girls defeated Jackson Liberty. The players sold t-shirts that fans wore to the game, to raise money for the Alexander Muñoz  Memorial Fund. In the coming week, the girls will be playing Metuchen home on the 23rd, which will also be senior night, followed by another home game against Point Beach on the 25th.  Best of luck in the coming games and keep working hard girls!
