As the spring quickly approaches, Shore Regional’s Boys’ tennis team is preparing for a new season. The team’s coach, Jason Vastano, expects to “play competitively” in their extremely challenging division and hopes to compete for the state sectional championship once again. Key returners include Cameron Walsh, Evan Coffey, Kyle Moore, Mason Stelfox, and Justin Heath. The captains are seniors Evan Coffey, Kyle Moore, and Justin Heath. Coach Vastano feels “really good about the start of this season.” Five starters graduated last year, and as a result there are several spots to be filled.

On March 16, 2016, the boys will compete in a scrimmage against Freehold Boro High School at 3:00 pm. The first match for the team will take place on April 5th, 2016 against St. John Vianney at 3:00 pm.
