President-elect Donald Trump has become known more recently for more than just his business savvy and orange glow.

Trump’s Twitter had always been popular because of his show Celebrity Apprentice, but it was slowly gaining followers throughout the campaign trail. The turning point was when Trump tweeted his first 3am tweet. Ever since then, his followers have jumped to 16.7 million people, following his tweets like a cat stalks its prey. Which is coincidental really, because Trump is now picking apart his prey through his now infamous Twitter account.

Many of the most controversial tweets have been aimed at Hillary Clinton and her supporters. Donald Trump tweeted this a week ago: “@CNN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don’t know what to do.” This tweet received 92.2 million likes, and was retweeted 25.5 thousand times. This past Sunday, Trump responded to an SNL skit in similar fashion: “Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.”

Along with picking at his competitors, Trump uses his Twitter to make presidential announcements. He announced on his Twitter five days ago that the presidency is his main concern, so he has legal documents being crafted which takes him completely out of his business’ operations.

He’s also announced who he has chosen for many of his cabinet members on his Twitter and what his cabinet members and him are going to do in the near future. We can be certain that all 16.7 million followers will be closely watching as Trump continues to tweet.
