Shore Regional shows off their Halloween spirit
From cheerleaders to whoopie cushions, this Halloween was one to remember
November 4, 2018
“Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat.” Halloween has since passed, but the spirit of the holiday is still very much alive. This Halloween Holiday was on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 and Shore Regional faculty, staff and students were ready and willing to show off their Halloween spirit.
Halloween is the best time to eat candy, spend time with friends and family, and always show off your best costume. Halloween is a time of scares, spooks, and fun, and it’s always a holiday to remember. There are always those fun times that you remember and will never forget, and will always share throughout your life.
Sophomore, Alexandra Benson, recalled her favorite Halloween memories:”My favorite Halloween memory was a few years ago when my friends and I were “ghosting”. We were running to different houses around the neighborhood, knocking on their doors, and hiding, but we left a bag of candy behind. We were hiding in the bushes of one house, adrenaline rushing through our veins when all of a sudden we hear a loud siren followed by a pool of light. We had set off someone’s house alarm. Eyes wide and mouths open, we bolted for the car, daring not to let out a breath of air or utter a single word until we were two blocks away from the house”.
Sophomore, Christian Bova commented, ” My favorite Halloween memory was when my neighbors and I knocked on someone’s door as we were out trick or treating and the lady was in the middle of cooking. It didn’t seem like she knew it was Halloween. She walked out of the kitchen frantically and saw a bunch of kids in masks holding bags and saying something in unison. She gasped and ran into her house and came back and threw money at us and shut her door”.
Shore Regional always spreads the Halloween cheer, and this Halloween was a great one. The costumes, the sweets, the decorations are always the best times to remember of Halloween. Don’t ever lose that spooky spirit, Shore!
