This fall, the widely known television network ABC had quite a few new premieres, including dramas, comedies, and everything in between. However, one new show has caught the attention of many for all of the right reasons. Quantico, which premiered Sunday, September 27th at 10:00 pm, is a new thriller-drama starring Priyanka Chopra involving the FBI, terrorists, and a healthy dosage of mystery.

It begins with a devastating scene, where we get our first glimpse of our protagonist, Alex Parrish, who lies unconscious in the ruins of a building. The scene then rewinds back to 9 months earlier, where we find that Alex, along with the other characters, are enrolling in Quantico, an FBI trainee program. Then, it flashes forward again to reveal Alex being taken in by the FBI in the midst of a terrorist attack. They tell her that they got a tip saying that the terrorist was one of the Quantico recruits, and our first mystery is revealed: Who could be the terrorist? As the show continues, pieces come together, more mysteries unfold, and we learn that everyone has something to hide.

ABC’s latest, Quantico, is a thrilling show full of surprise and suspense; it contains a diverse cast, feminism, and characters that defy stereotype. Rated TV-14, Quantico appeals to both adult and teen audiences. With an amazing cast, plot, and over 7 million views for the premiere, Quantico certainly has pulled me in and is likely to do the same to anyone who watches.
