Mrs. McMahon’s environmental classes went on a virtual field trip on Friday, November 20th to the Smithsonian Zoo.  Students learned from biologists and conservationists why it is important to address the loss in Earth’s biodiversity and what can be done to prevent it.  Students were challenged to to find one thing they could do to preserve species diversity, and put their ideas on paper to join the #startwith1thing campaign.
