New year, new you?

Why you’re setting yourself up for failure in your new year’s resolutions.

The decade has ended, along with starting a new year, there are more and more resolutions being brought up. Have you chosen a new resolution? Or are you trying to do the same one as last year? It seems that over the years resolutions are usually the same and have the same outcome. The New Year starts strong as do you with your resolution as you get further into the year you give up on it. In 2018 it was reposted that through the whole world over 80% of resolutions tend to fail or quit by February. After a while, people start to get lazy and make excuses for not needing to get to accomplish the goal.

The most popular resolution over the years has seemed to become fit and healthy. January first people get there fridge set up, remove all of the junk food from there house, and join an expensive gym membership. One of the most popular excuses for not going through with there resolution is saying they’re too busy with family, school, or work. They may be excuses that you feel are good enough for you to believe. Sometimes you have to put yourself first and be able to take care of yourself. You can make it fun and bring along friends to help push yourself to go and take care of your body, especially because you only get one. There will always be something you can change around to make time for yourself. There are times you must put yourself first, yet many times people give up on themselves.

The percentage of failure of a resolution is much higher than the percentage of success. There are many different things that you can try to help push yourself if you do not have enough willpower. Having will power is extremely important so you do not have to depend on others, you can depend on yourself. Keeping your resolution sample is a god motivation because you would not have to keep beating yourself up about not accomplishing it. do not think too far out of the box start out small and work your way up in having confidence in yourself.
